The Static Sites Tool

Jorg Kantel asked about something he called the Static Sites Tool, which I had never heard of. So I asked him to explain. He said that the OPML Editor is missing the commands in the menu to manage static websites.

It was easy enough to take the commands from Frontier and put them into a new tool database, and publish it. That’s what this tool is.

How to Install

1. Choose Update opml.root from the Files menu. I made a couple of fixes for this tool.

2. Choose Tool Catalog from the Misc menu in the OPML Editor. Click on the Install link next to staticSites.root.

After it’s installed choose commands from Static Sites sub-menu of the Tools. All the commands from the Frontier Web menu should be there.

Important: I haven’t tested most of the commands, so if you have any problems, please post a comment here or on the Frontier-Kernel list.
